I was curious and went hunting through my old topics. This seems to be the last time I posted anything that reflected the faith I still had some 7 years ago.
I don't miss it, freedom is just too wonderful!

The person Baptizing is "nothing", it is the person BEING Baptized that is the key figure.
One can, if alone and of age and of knowledge, baptize oneself.
The person that Baptizes asks only one question really and that is do you accept Jesus as your saviour, believe that he is the Son of God, that he died and was ressurected and that you repent your sins. Then the person is baptized in the name of the Father, Son and HS.
It is really all about our personal accepteance and the actual dunking of the donut is merely symbolic.
