Hey Smiddy excellent point. Here is an article from 2012 which covers this exact case. The woman loses a defamation case against the elders on a technicality but the basis of the article is this woman talking to another sister about her ex's wrongdoing even showing a photo of him with another woman on holiday.

Spinks' testimony was probably the worst for the JWs.
He was belligerent, arrogant, defensive, refused to plainly answer questions and read scriptures instead. He attempted to "teach" as he would in the Kingdom Hall, not realizing that that was very disrespectful and inappropriate.
His behavior was the worst with the female solicitors.
Thank goodness Justice McClellan intervened on many occasions and forced a clear response.
McClellan made it clear that despite their good intentions (which Spinks blew a gasket trying to defend) that their PROCESS nevertheless leaves children at risk!
Why is that so terrible to admit and address? A little contrition would go a long way. Instead he comes off looking like an ass and a not very sympathetic one at that!

Not only that, the Bibble is the only thing that he knows anything about. That is all he has to speak about.
What else would he have read except the WT's interpetation of Bibble verses? And Spinks has only had that put inside of him. He is empty of anything else. He has nothing else to offer.
It is rather pathetic. The world is full of wonderful literature, science and history - so much knowledge and billions of books to read. And his world is confined to one old book that came out of the Middle East a long time ago. That's it. The Bibble. And WT rules. Nothing else.
