We don't have it here (in the UK) but they have it in Calgary & Lethbridge and it's pretty nice. Even McDonalds have it !
Would you eat this?

Hey Moe, fries are good with that chili you put on hot dogs too.

The first time I saw fried cheese curds it was at the Minnesota State Fair, where there was a fried cheese curds booth on every corner. I didn't know what they were, but they were good.
Minnesota State Fair cheese curds are the BESTUS! You come back to MN, Francois, and I will gladly share some with you!

We don't have it downunder yet, as far as I am aware...but with the steadily increasing number of Burge King and Starbuck franchises I am sure it wont take long. It looks blech to me though.
Now a nice chip buttie....mmmmmmmmmmm! *shows her pommie heritage**

Being that cheese is extremely fattening, I'm not sure about this idea of adding it to chips. (which is not the most healthy food to start out with)
Here in England, we have a strong tradition in chip potatoes and they come with a variety of side dishes, most popular being fish. Fish is quite good for you. Another is mushy peas. Now that is good for you too.
Hmm, I'm wondering now about cheesy peas.

Skully as a fellow Canuck I don't care if you tell the truth about something. I have never had poutine myself as I can't get over the look of it. It looks like barf!! I love french fries and cheese, but as for all the other goop no thanks.. I love malt vinager on my fries and like the Brits I love fish with them. Especially Halibut, the best fish ever. Now shrimp and fries or clams and fries that is a real treat. And now I am craving them big time.
Oh gee thanks for starting this thread. Now I got to go...
Love Orangefatcat.
