Good point hooberus this looks like yet another wt blunder that has gone unchallenged because people are beat over the head with the concept that they are sheep to be led by a bunch of hypocrites in brooklyn.

"Knowledge That Leads to Everlasting Life" page 65, see also page 36.

"In the fall of 29 C.E., Jesus went to his relative John to be baptized and thereby present himself to carry out God's will. On that occasion Jehovah anointed Jesus with holy spirit. Jesus thus became the Messiah, or Christ, the one anointed by God.

Question # 12. When did Jesus become the Messiah, and what life cource did he thereater pursue?

The "Make Sure of All Things" book even went so far as to directly state the Jesus was not Christ at birth. A direct contradiction of Matthew 1:18 and Luke 2:11.

Jesus is Christ. Jesus Christ is FULLY God and FULLY Man. If He wasn't either one of those (fully God and man) then He could never be the perfect sacrifice for my sins, and save me from Hell. Now, JWs- you don't believe in Hell do ya? Well I do. Matt. 25:46- "Then they will go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into eternal life." That's very clear. So, Jesus had to be the perfect sacrifice as a man, yet have the diety of God to perfectly atone, to save me from hell. Please write back! Thank you!
