She's gonna be locked up!

After several phone calls from my wife yesterday, and one from her Therapist and another from the psychiatric hospital the little Mrs. is on her way back to South Carolina. According to her Therapist she was in the middle of a breakdown yesterday. Her therapist asked if she (the wife) could come home for treatment. I agreed only on the basis that arrangements be put in place for her to sign herself in to a psychiatric hospital. Soooo, my insurance will cover her mental recovery. Where we go from there depends on what happens while she's "locked up." "Locked Up" is her term not mine.

Keep me in your thoughts and prayers (and her too). I'm NOT saying we're going to patch things up, but I haven't filed for divorce yet either. We'll just wait and see what happens.

True, and in many ways the worst still lies ahead if she actually goes through with the counseling. She'll have to recover the memories of her molestation as a child (from before age 3 from all indications). Like I said, I've made no decisions other than to be there for her as long as she's working hard at getting better.

while i may not agree with all your post- i feel for you on this one, and wish you the best''

i hate to seem like i;m getting all up in your biz, but you mentioned molestation,--

as you look back do you think that wt is the reason that your marriage as well as her mental health has been pushed to the very edge-

i have not had to exp what you have, so i will not say i know exactly how you feel ,but you should know that regardless of any of our views here, WE ARE BEHIND YOU AND SUPPORT YOU-

I KNOW FOR MYself just having to deal with wt issues alone many times is enough, and to combine that with marriage and mental health issues , must be a challenge beyond compare

    i wish you well

feel free to give me a call if you need someone to just bouce some thoughts off

What a sad situation. I think it is wonderful you are extending a helping hand to her. Who else is going to help her? But to invite this person back into your family is a recipe for disaster....for you and your children. Best wishes whatever you decide.

Yerusalyim, sounds like you and your family are going through alot! I'm glad to see that you are being there for her. Being Bi-polar is no different than any other kind of health problem. It's treatable. For you, her and your children, I hope you can get this under control. Do keep us posted on how she does. My heart goes out to her, you and your children. You will be in my thoughts.
