I have been scrapbooking for about 5 years. I worked in a scrapbook store for nearly a year, until the Mormons drove me crazy and out the door. (they owned it)
Princess introduced me to Creative Memories stuff, through one of her friends who sells it, and have been hooked on that style ever since.
I agree it is addictive (demonic?). I have way too much stuff.
