All of the WTS property in Brooklyn Heights would likely be worth a huge fortune. The good people of the Heights will no doubt have a huge block party celebration when and if this occurs. Of course there are the original Columbia Heights complexes, the old Squibb factory and the Adams Street factories and I've lost track of all of the other old hotels and apartment buildings they bought and converted. WOW, real estate brokers will be licking their chops over this one.

Do you think the governing body is cashing out and will be soon disappearing to Switzerland? We can only hope. Someone needs to alert Interpol.

Actually since the sale will bring in tens of millions of dollars, the Society will be distributing that cash to all current witnesses who have a publisher card on file. Because it was only by contributions of all of Jehovah's people that made it possible for the Society to be as rich as it is, they only thought it was fair to give back to the people that gave money to them. The cash distribution will be returned on the basis of your average hours per month over the last 5 years....with regular pioneers getting the most. This offer is only available to current witnesses.....it is not available to apostates, disassociated, DA'd, inactive, or ex JW's. If you wish to be included in this one time cash payout, then you must come back to meetings, and go out in field service for a minimum of 20 hours per month. This is a limited time offer, so you must act fast. Please contact your local congregation and they will be happy to assist you!

You're totally wrong Jimbob! I have it from inside sources that even Metatron doesn't have what's really going to happen. The Brooklyn Heights properties will be sold very quietly and the proceeds deposited into a bank in the Cayman Islands. In order to avoid any taxes, the money must then be laundered back into the U.S. To accomplish this, the GB will use their branch in Nigeria. From Nigeria they will send emails to selected Witnesses with internet access. These Witnesses will be asked to provide their bank account numbers for the purpose of depositing some of the money, in return for which they will receive a small percentage as a reward. The GB will then use those bank account numbers to drain dry the accounts of the Witnesses and retire somewhere in the Carribean.

If the WTS is cutting back, then by extension, Jehovah is cutting back. This leads me to the question, is there a cash crunch in heaven? Or, is Jehovah simply tired of providing food in due season?

I'm not sure how to read this and how Jehovah fits into all of this.

Id like to see the entire operation move to the bottom of the Atlantic.

I heard the same rumor as izobcenec

That if New York gets the 2008 Olympic games that there is a buyer that will take all of their property. I was then told how the Watchtower bought the property for peanuts and is now going to get a very big profit from the sale. Good things always happen to Jehovahs organization.

Still no acknowledgment that they are scaling back.

I was once a pioneer and used to people telling me to "find something better to do".

To be honest, I now see the truth in all it's glory; huge amounts of property worldwide, billions of volunteer hours wasted.

Just think what all this could accomplish if it were put to good use? Take all the contributions put in over the year, all the man-hours and all the facilities available to them. What could they accomplish?

I wonder how the sale of Brooklyn would be "sold" to the R&F?
