I saw this movie over the weekend. I think he did a very good job addressing the subject of guns in America. I walked away still not knowing exactly why there are so many more murders in this country than in any other countries. Two main contributing factors stand out in my mind:
- Guns are easily accessible and are an encouraged purchase.
- America has accepted gun-toting and violence by guns as part of their culture. It's glamorized by the media as part of the "American Culture."
It's an eye opener documentarty, that's for sure. I didn't know America has such an outrageous amount more murders than other countries. Also learned how some celebrities are nothing but self-centered pricks.
I have respect for Kmart after seeing that movie, that's for sure. They did a very noble thing.
Anybody else seen it? Michael Moore deserves mad props.
