What does Jehovah think of psychic ability

  I was wondering if anyone knows where psychic ability comes from and why I can feel when there are evil spirits in certain places!

  You know I often wonder about things like that myself. In view of the JW bs teaching, it is not something they approve of. Since my departure from their ways I have been able to learn & listen to such people who have experienced this 6th sense so to speak.

  Where does it come from, how do you know such things ?? My friend could find water with a stick, is that spirit directed or demonism ??

  His simple explanation to me was that he could sense, or was tuned to be able to do that. In like manner he is also able to sense spirits, either good or bad.

  He credits his gift to god and I accept that.

  I imagine Jehovah God thinks that psychic ability is a bit okay if your a member of his Organizations "Governing Body". After all, while theyre praying intensely and searching in behind theyre own eyeballs for a response from God, a sign, an indication, well thats sort of psychic ability isnt it? I think so.

  Of course if your not on the Governing Body well its just RANK DEMONISM. Perfectly clear and simple to me. Very black and white.

  May I tactfully suggest that your question is wrong. It's not a matter of what Jehovah thinks about it, surely? He's the Creator of all things, so what's there to think about?

  If some people are psychic, fine. If they really are, that is.

  We may have been in the Dub mindset where we had to be told what is or is not approved. But no longer. So we don't need to concerned.

  Since Jehovah gave us the ability, I don't see why he would mind us using it.

  Psychic ability is just another sense, as somebody said, a sixth sense. Why would it be anymore wrong to develope/use this sense than to use the other senses of feeling, hearing etc? The wt always tries to limit people from attaining their full potential. It doesn't want anything to threaten full wt controls on your thinking.

  Firstly "Jehovah" or Yahweh is the name of the Hebrew God.

  Also, the idea of "Good" and "Evil" doesn't make much sense to me, either. The idea of a devil is largely christian.
