What I am about to say will not make me very popular. So be it.

Since XW placed me in the middle of this crap with Richard in late October, right before she left for the Texas apostofest--she called me on the phone univited, I know what is going on. There are two sides to this story and I want to say ((((((((Richard))))))).

Some of you may have noticed that XW and I are not chummy in chat anymore. There is a reason why. I anticipate that I am about to lose a few friends on this board. I regret that. But, I know the truth. I heard it from XW and I no longer trust her.

XW: I told you I would not disclose our conversation and I wont, but stop making it look like Richard is lying about you. He isn't and you know he isn't. You are not innocent in this. And please, do not call me.

Now, having said that, do I think that Richard should have posted such personal information on a public forum? NO.

Some of you may attack me. Go ahead. It doesn't change the truth of the matter.

I won't attack you Robyn. I am not questioning the accuracy of the statements, but I am questioning the fact this was aired publicly. And you know, people DO fall out of thier crushes, it happens. I think Skeptical is a nice guy, same as I think XenaWarrior is a cool lady with a good heart. Some folks just don't make a good match or sometimes the feelings just aren't there. You can't help the way you feel. Perhaps he posted this because he was hurt, who knows. I just find it childish is all, of course we are all childish sometimes.

That is the whole point. It makes no difference to most outsiders who is right or who is wrong in their PERSONAL relationship. It should have been kept between the two people involved and Richard saw fit to post his dirty laundry in public. It was a vindictive move, no matter how he explains it, and he deserved to be blasted for it.

That post by Skeptic where he apologises is an indication to me that the guy is a person prepared to publically apologise if he makes a mistake. So what's the harm in that?

I don't like to see people's dirty laundry aired over the board, but there is the flip side:

If you were looking for a partner, wouldn't you want to know if there was someone/s on the board that was playing with people?

If several people have been hurt, is that enough to give out a warning about someone? Certainly, if several people I could trust said that they had been hurt by a certain "player", then I would be more wary of getting too close to someone. Even if it's not in a romantic sense, it is still helpful to know if someone can be trusted, and who can't be.

Heres the deal, from what I know and for those who dont know.

Skeptic and Xenawarrior were involved. They got close, he came on strong and began talking about how much he "loved" her, then marriage, then moving to the states and different ways for him to obtain a greencard and become a citizen. Also mentioning that they wouldnt be able to divorce for a certain # of years or he would have to move back to Canada. All of this within ONE WEEK.

I know I would have been suspicious.

She has alot to lose. She has herself and her daughter to look out for. She is independant, lives comfortably and has been taken advantage of in the past.

I personally am concerned about this happening to other women on the board or anywhere else for that matter.

The women on the board who are defending him. Im sorry, I dont know you but Im wondering if he has some kind of hold on you. A collar maybe? Sorry bad joke. Who knows, maybe he has chat transcripts of personal conversations with these women and is blackmailing them. Or, It could be possible that he smooth talked them into believing that he is such a victim and has been SO hurt and XW is SO evil blah, blah, blah.

Whatever.

Yes, Heaven, a very bad joke. If anything, XW has much more dirt on me than Skeptic. I admire that you are defending your friend. I guess a couple of tickets to the Packers is worth more than the truth.

For your info. XW and I didnt go to the game. We watched it together at the bar nearby and partied our as*es off and had a blast.

LOL @ heaven. Cogent thoughts; especially the thought of what transpired within one weeks time. During which time the shakespeare-of-cheap-sex (or should that be the Larry Flynt-of-Harlequin-romance?) was conversing with (actually just "writing too") other women in a similar vein, if I'm not mistaken.

Your right, this drama is even more nauseating than most drama, so impure it's motives.
