You're right as usual, metatron. However, as much as I would have liked to tell the elders where to put it, there was a time when someone very precious to me was still on the inside. So I was polite but noncommital, which seemed to give them the impression that I was still not entirely deprogrammed. It's very difficult in that situation.

i had the dreaded visit, and it took them 3 months and you know what i said? " i dont want to talk about that" and they couldnt say anything i then said but u have a nice day byee and i shut the door, if you think about it what can they say to u if u say that???? nothing, and if they keep talking just keep saying i dont want to talk about that.... and in the end they have to leave, i guarantee they wont bother after that, theres nothing they can do

I was such a rug as a JW....trying to be meek while the wolf ate me up.
I don't think I could ever be that way again. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad.
But I will never let my children or myself be treated again as we were when I was in so called "Good Standing"
