Here are some links for you that will give you more than enough information about Jehovah's Witnesses. The JW's are a CULT - A very strict Mind Control CULT. Run away fast before they brainwash you into being a dumb sheep with NO independent thinking allowed.

if you consider giving somone a birthday present stalking thats fine
That's not what I consider stalking. I consider buying someone a TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR birthday present ANONYMOUSLY and then dropping it off at their DOORSTEP at FOUR IN THE FRICKIN MORNING as 'stalking', yes.
And more than a tad weird that you haven't talked w/ her for a month prior and many months since.
I mean, am I wrong here?
Does anyone else not have warning bells going off in their heads?
Would YOU all want this guy knowing where you live??

Hi Delicious Dan, and welcome to the board.
I don't blame you for being confused about her . The rules she is expected to follow are so different than the rest of society. Any romance between a Jehovah's Witness and a non JW gets very confused. Just because she is JW doesn't mean she isn't a nice girl, but it just won't work. No, she isn't supposed to date outside her religion. Actually she isn't supposed to date at all unless she is looking for a husband. She isn't supposed to hug or kiss a boy, not even hold his hand, and if she does any of those things, she may end up feeling very guilty.
My daughter had a JW boyfriend for quite a while. He was a very sweet boy, and he loved her very much but it just wouldn't work, and he was too young to change things in his life. She was constantly rejected by his family and JW friends and it just got too difficult and hurtful and complicated. E mail me if you want.

My dear Daniel,
Two years ago, there ran through this place one called Danielle, who manifested true fruitage of the JW spirit. Danielle's visit here was brief, lasting no more than a day, but a 'Search' shows me that Danielle is remembered still.
Alas, so traumatic were the loving (TM WTS) truths keen young Danielle brought to the worldly, unbelieving ones, members of the dogfood and birdseed Class (that includes you, son, whatever you may think) that the (then less experienced) S.Magus Class allegedly saw fit to allegedly excise them allegedly COMPLETELY from this forum, a distinction conferred on very, very, very few posters. This despite the fact that they contained no rude images, words or insults, and just spoke the true langwitch of God's only footstep followers. How piquant!
In the improbable event that you are what you say you are, and you think I am nuts, I assure you that you will soon be dealing with far, far, far worse insanity (not to mention trauma, hurt, rejection, confusion etc.) on a close basis for a long period if you pursue this interest successfully. And the choice may come down to signing up to something you know is a load of bull, and losing the one you have fallen in love with.
This is no joking matter. Over 50% of all contested child-custody cases in the U.S., where religion is at all an issue, involves one parent who is a JW. If there was no correlation, and allowing for the dynamics of JW-JW/JW-nonJW relationships (100 lines snipped here), you could expect this to be at about the 0.1% level AT MOST. That is 500 times, son. Think about what causes this.....
To your other question. I see no contradiction in one of God's people accepting a birthday present. You are scheduled for imminent slaughter (watch no use to you) unless you sign up, in which case she'll give it back to you in the New World while raiding all those swanky watch shops with no cops to stop her. Or if you die first not having heard the message, this is a way of your inheriting your own estate in the New World! Actually, the Watchtower try this line regularly in their attempts to solicit donations (at least once, right next to their attempts to get you killed by refusing transfusions - profiting from their heinous spiritual crime).
If you prefer the short version, Daniel: RUN!
If only Danielle's material was here, a link to the userposts would serve as sufficient warning.... hint to the Resurrection Class.

Well ok...
I have some more stuff to say (yay for me lol)
The reason I couldnt say who it was from, and why I had to go so early was so that her parents didint see me, and couldnt confirm who it was from. Her parents know who I am and know that I have a crush on their daughter, and this one time I was sitting crying and she sat next to me and put her arms around me and said "if my father knew I was doing this he'd kill me" and she gave me a kiss and just held me for like an hour. Isnt that like completely against their religion to do???
Its all so confusing... I hope shes not a JW from what everyones been telling me it seems kinda scarry. But Im not just going to forget that I ever met her and give up because shes a JW...

Well now, Concerned Momma and Focus gave you the straight skinny from two different perspectives and two different writing styles, yet their thoughts converge on the same illuminated point, like light converses from a lense. I do hope you absorb this.

Dude,
Check out the search engine at the top of this page. Use "dating" and "JW" as search terms. Or "JW" and "girlfriend". This topic has been discussed extensively.
For instance: JW girlfriendI am a non-witness in love with one. help please
why i hate jehovah's witnesses... (shows the level of hypocrisy that is possible. Not intended to reflect on your light-o'-love).Yeah, sitting and comforting you for an hour was definitely off-limits for the daughter of devout JW's. JW kids tend to be either repressed or devious about young love. They don't have much choice, usually.
