Just as an update (since this topic has risen to the top again), this afternoon I paid $1.449 for regular at a full serve station (which is all we have here; self-serve is illegal in NJ).

Ha! Ours is cheaper. I paid 1.96 per gallon this morning. Funny thing is. I have been telling people for months now that as soon as the election was over the prices would go down. Things that make you go hmmm.
