What drives me crazy is when I'm buying something and the cashier tries to get my address and phone number. Radio Shack sound familiar here? (they're not the only ones anymore)

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE RADIO SHACK YOUR ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER AND THEY CAN'T FORCE YOU TO SO DON'T DO IT!!!

I could go off on a whole 'nuther rant but I'll cut it short.

All y'all who replied about telemarketers, well sorry but you only have yourselves to blame. Unless my purchase is being delivered, I don't give out my address and phone number to any store whatsoever. I get almost no calls from telemarketers for that very reason, and I'm not even on my state's do-not-call list. Hell, my last employer never did have my phone number and I once had a landlord who never knew my last name!

Mike. (who is Mike, that's for sure) but may live at one of three locations in either Bibb or Jones County and God only knows what my phone number is)

what drives me crazy is the ing in a word. Rather than actually pronounce the g at the end, it is said in the lazy way.....'in.....cryin, lyin, dyin....etc.

What really drives me crazy is when Minimus says that other people are liars. Well, actually he said that we have fat bellys. What was really interesting to learn though was that he used to (and maybe still does) work at a bank. In fact, he must have worked there for a long time because he said he was the original teller. The pertinent point here is that as a long employed bank teller Minimus has obviously handled millions of dollars. Millions of dollars which could have been put to good use feeding countless hordes of starving third world citizens. The fact that Minimus never thought to utilize this money for such a cause is proof in itself that he not only hates charitable actions but undoubtedly hates any would-be recipients of said charitable actions. How a bigoted, chauvinistic, person like that can continue to dance and whistle with a clean conscience is beyond me, but hey, the facts speak for themselves. Dancing and whistling is of course not objectionable in itself, however when the whistling is nothing less than shameless flirting with women of questionable heritage, well then....... By the way, if you don't think any of this is true, I'm just repeating what Minimus said in his original post on this thread!

People who are doormats. Seriously, I have friends and relatives that do not complain when they are ripped off by some shop, or phone company or whoever. They lose out because "I don't want to bother complaining"

I know someone who is about 300 out of pocket and he "doesn't want to rock the boat"

    ARGH.

Now I have the insatiable urge to find out Bendrr's phone number

I'm pretty easy-going, but it drives me crazy when people constantly knock other people, just because. I mean, lighten up! Life is too short for creating extra stress.

People that beat around the bush, I dunno, I just got used to getting things done now, and not taking hours to explain things, you don't have that kind of time on a TV Studio set.

They used to do this at Tandy Electronics store here in Oz, but I don't think they do it anymore.

It may have something to do with our recently passed Privacy laws?????

Perhaps something similar has happened in the UK after the passing of the Data Protection Act?
