Welcome. I too used to live in Kansas. Was baptized at a circut assembly in Pratt, KS. Lived in Liberal and the Dodge City area. Hope you find some comfort here. Just remember, there are lots of different people here and all are at a different place emotionally in their lives. Some are in those dark bitter stages, others in a very comfortable and happy place. Just take what you need from here, leave what you can...and leave the rest.

Welcome!! I left when I was 17 years old ...it took me about 15 years to find this site....so glad you found it sooner!! You will meet all kinds of people here...I have really learned to be more tolerant of others and not to see in just black and white....I'm so happy for you!!

Have you tried other boards? Sometimes we get flame wars here but I just ignore those. I don't post much nowadays but I still enjoy reading other's posts most days.

You and I sound so similar. I'm 23. I was baptized at 13, pioneered, was a delegate at foriegn assemblies, was engaged to a ministerial servant. I left at 19. I haven't been Df'd or Da'd, but none of my family or old "friends" talk to me.
