I think that "spiritual" is another in the long list of words that has been hijacked by the WTBTS, and given meaning beyond common usage.
Concise Oxford Dictionary:
spiritual adj. 1 of or concerned with the spirit as opposed to matter. 2 concerned with sacred or religious things; holy; divine; inspired. 3 (of the mind etc.) refined, sensitive; not concerned with the material.
In usage by JWs, what does it mean to be "spiritual"? Having lots of underlining in your WT, making lots of comments at the meetings, being unfashionable in dress and grooming (important), not having well paid or prestigious employment, reporting good figures for time and placements......
It is not the accepted meaning of "spiritual", and it is not of benefit to God or man.
