Just because a person was cloned means nothing. A clone is a person too. All it means is that someones genetic code was replicated. She is a baby just like any other. Does anyone remember test tube babies and invetero fertilization? It's not really that big of a deal. Or are you all picturing scenes from "Attack of the Clones"?
I'm a bit suspicous of the source though..the "Realiens"? Child protective services should remove the child so she can have an autonomous childhood. Just my opinion...
I was watching CNN this afternoon while getting dressed for work. They didn't think there was anything to this claim. According to the report, this group has little or no scientific background and have not produced any data to back up their claim.
In my opinion, it's just some fruitcake cult trying to grab some cheap publicity. We are probably 5-10 years away from a legitimate effort being successful. But even it does bring up some serious ethical issues.
