I am glad you received much hospitality when you visited the U.S.A.
You must understand though you were a guest that was interesting to them and temporary. Not someone who might need them to behave as an extended family In Jah and Christ Jesus. Which takes much more LOVE and dedication for all Christians.
U.S. does have welfare programs but, has limits as to how long you may be on them due to welfare reform.
There have not been any cases of single mothers in U.S. wanting The Cong to completely support them. In my experience all they needed was a car repair.house repairs.someone to watch a childsome groceries.maybe a few dollars to help with rent but, not even every year.
Here we have a Religion(Jehovah Witness) worth Billions of dollars and not one charity program for their own members.
They did start the relief work but that was late in their years as a Religion they claim has been around for 100 years! Also, this is the kind of Charity the WHOLE World sees. News cameras flashing,etc.
Their members can build a KH in 2 days but, cant fix a working single mothers carburetor in a few hours (Or less) There another example of The WHOLE world watching.
What happened to doing good deeds in secret? As Our Lord and Savior taught?
I know of single mothers and children with no rides to even meetings, Assemblies, or Conventions.
When Jesus separated the sheep and the goats it was by how they treated the least of His people.
Believe, many JWs and The WTBS have to answer for that.
You pointed out to me that there is much I can do and to not wait for others.
Well of course, and I have and even dissfellowshiped as I am now I have helped Single Mothers inside the org.
See these single moms come to me even though I am dissed because they have NO ONE else to help them!
Can you imagine that? One called me crying the other day because her car was broken and she couldnt make it to work. I arranged the ride with another single mother who is in good standing so no one would get in trouble by being seen with me.
I have helped others with the nothing I have Happyman. I myself live with Worldly Family who has often complained how the JWs dont help their poor. You see My Atheist Worldly Family ends up helping many single moms and their children that are JW in our area.
I have often been mocked by my family because of the WTBS cold do for yourself.take the initiative for yourself stand. Sometimes a person is doing all they can do and no more is possible for them because they are so poor.
In the U.S. it is a crime when the bros and sisters do not help..this is a very wealthy nation. Although, having materially does not make a person bad still, when you can afford vacations and video games while your sister and her fatherless children dont know where their next meal is coming from. That is a crime.
Here I am Happy manI own nothing and single mothers come to me. I am in the territory of a very rich cong. One homeless single mom I know tried to kill herself not that long ago. Her daughter came to me. They have been to the elders a hundred times with no results and I even went to an elder before they became truly homeless.
I used to think the end must be soon if this is how life in The Truth is.
I have come to realize this could not be the Truth since this is how life is in The Org.
