Nothing, until I watched A Kinghts Tale, again last night. Today, all day, We will rock you, has been playing in my head.

At least it's a good song.

Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You. I've got this bad cold and my voice is sounding pretty good tonight. I used to listen to early Joan Baez Child Ballads. I had a girlfriend who could play and sing pretty much like her. Anyhow, tonight I just opened up my mouth and belted out:

Babe, I'm gonna leave, tell you when I'm gonna leave you...

Leave you when old summertime, summer comes arolling

Leave you when old summer comes along.

    Babe, that highway's a'callin

    That broad highway's a'callin

Callin me to travel on, travel on out westward

Callin me to travel on alone.

My feet start fallin down, going down that highway

My feet start fallin down alone.

Babe, I'd like to stay here, you know I'd really like to stay here,

But my feet start fallin down, going down alone.

They just keep fallin down, going down alone.

Another song, playing in my head is From House to House...go figure.

"Nobody's gonna break my stride...nobody's gonna slow me down...oh no..I've got to keep a-moving.."

I don't remember who did this, but it kept me going while working full time and pursuing a BA part-time (which I earned in June 2001). It still haunts me.

LDH, a few years back I was in Disney World and went into the Small World ride and that freaking song kept playing over and over in my mind, and to this day, every now and then, my family reminds me about that....my daughter recently downloaded it and played it back to me, and I said "NO! NO!"

"Kiss Me" by Sixpence Non the Richer

Kiss MeKiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
    Lift up your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
    Silver moon's sparkling
    So kiss me

Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon it's hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map

Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
    Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
    Silver moon's sparkling
    So kiss me
