I saw movies like that when I was a JW, I just kept it to myself and did not make a big scene about it.

What I find interesting is that there are those, including elders, who refuse to go and see Harry Potter on the grounds it is about sorcery but then go and see Lord of the Rings. They don't seem to make the connection that they are about the same thing!

I think they do, infact, make the connection, but their subconscious mind forgives them as they are doing "research"!

The only move I ever remember the watchtower SPECIFICALLY stating that we SHOULDN'T see was not mentioned by name, but you KNEW which movie it was - because they described scenes in detail...and i think it was even placed in a watchtower study.....SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. Anybody remember this?
