While pioneering in Georgia in the late 60's I approached a little cabin sort of in the woods, a huge german shepherd burst out the front door and clamped his jaws on my leg, I used my book bag to beat him off.

The householder came out and saw my leg bleeding through my light gray suit. He looked me square in the eye and asked 'do ya want me to shoot this dog'? I told him that I was ok, and no I didn't want him to shoot the dog, but would he mind if I read Rev 21: 3 and 4 to him.

I should have said yeah shoot the damn dog!

What I really don't like is when people let their animals out and they come onto your property to do their business. Happened to a guy I used to know when I was a teenager. He lived in the country and his house was right on the lake. Some of the houses were owned by city people that came down on the weekends. It never failed...The next door neighbours had a yappy little poodle who used to come on to my friends lawn to have a dump. My friend proceeded to teach the dog by shooting it with a BB gun in the butt everytime it came over to use his lawn. Didn't take long and the dog learned not to step on the lawn. He would a skirt the edges but never step on it....hehe.

My man tries to hit it with the van everytime he sees it..

I watch it, walk in.. do his business and walk back next door... It drives me bonkers!!
