Lilacs...that is great....I have less than 2K debt amidst all my youthful indiscretions..*LOL* 1 year and I will be debt free...it feels good to get things under control huh?....too bad it doesn't remind me of early home life....

    Sincerely,

Lilacs from one tired cleaning lady to another.........WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! You've done real good hun and should be very proud of yourself. House cleaners are a luxury and should be paid a premium price and highly regarded too!

Shari, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a little pride in a job well done. You've accomplished what many have failed at, so hold your head up and be proud of what you've done.

Thats great news Shari I know myself how hard it can be especially over the first 3 years getting a clientell together. I started a business 5 years ago and it took me 3 years to get a reasonable business income out of it . I started getting my work going door to door and I told my witness friends about it and how if I had been brought up a witness I would have a head start with door to door. Barry

    Good for you Shari!!

As for the name... what about Shari's Clean Up Maids... no wait!!!

Joking aside... your story is pretty inspirational... especially for those of us who also one day want to make it on our own but are so afraid to make the jump.

Lilacs - I have to add my congrats here - that's wonderful!!!!! You have every right to feel pride in your hard work, and your ability to become totally independent & self-sufficient.

<rhonda smooths Shari's pillows as it hasn't been done in awhile - offers up chocolates & a nice glass of wine>

    You go girl!

Thanks you guys. I am really not one to brag but I feel good about myself.(first time in a while) I don't mind hard work.

Rhonda, would you mind if I took a heating pad in lieu of the pillow fluffing? I could sure use one about now. If you get my drift.

I was supposed to work today but when I arrived at the one house I had for the day, she had forgot to leave the key under the mat. I guess this means I will be busy as a bee tomorrow because she will make four. At least that gave me today off.
