Maybe establishing a real estate business now set in concrete?

This is a simple means of shielding assets from future litigation. Soon when someone decides to sue the Watchtower or Jehovah's Witnesses they will find no assets to collect even if they win. The goodies of money and property are being dispersed through many separate legal organizations.

this has been set up as a not-for-profit. There are no IRS Form 990s on Guidestar. Perhaps because it is too new. But this will be one to watch.

More and more the Witnesses' sky daddy (Jehovah) is being reduced to the initial 'J' as in....JW Congregation Support, Inc....JW.Org...etc...etc...etc! I find that soooo hilarious!

Whatever happened to the importance of just making Jehovah's name known? Remember, even if you are turned away by the householder at the door, you have "made Jehovah's name known".

Dear Brothers:

Henceforth, if the householder expresses no interest in the message of the Good News, make every attempt to get the JW name known. You could emphasis the importance of this by always wearing your JW.org pin on your lapel.

NY44M, I don't think they can shield assets this way. As long as they maintain top down control the courts can follow the money to where ever it goes. I know that in some cases (depending on state jurisdiction, or if you're in Bankruptcy court) moving assets to avoid seizure is a crime.

It might be a good idea to forward this news to the Australian Royal Commission to keep them up to speed.

Probably not, but it makes the process of collecting more complicated. Sometimes slowing the bleed is the only strategy available.

I have now discovered JWCS LLC and jw congretion support inc

dont we know that both companies are like "the same" ?

I am only wondering because this JWCS LLC is not listed as a "non profit organisation" to any database and jwcs llc is on the same road as watchtower farms wallkill... and there is another jwcs LLC in florida which is very very close to some jw kingdom halls. I am wondering for what there is the need for this company?

Jehovah is the almighty grand lord of creation, setting in motion trillions of nuclear fusion reactors in billions of galaxies across billions of light years of time & space.....

Yet he needs to make sure that on one rock orbiting one of those stars, the proper legal documents are filed so that he doesn't pay any taxes.
