I have 3 aquaintances who are social workers. I called each of them, and mentioned the coming TV show to them, and it's connection to child abuse. They are all busy people who don't nomally watch much TV, so they were all very interested and grateful for the information and were planning on passing it on to their colleagues.
Interestingly enough, one already knew a lot about the issue and said that they (social workers) have a hard time investigating JWs, both in obtaining information and getting access to the house or child.

May I ask -- where do you live? I've heard others mention in my area (even jw's) that some social workers in South Carolina feel that jw's are a closed cult.
