I love enya(a day without rain), Loreena McKennitt(The Book of Secrets), The Corrs(In Blue), Faith Hill(Cry), Dixie Chicks(Home), Shania Twain(Up), and old Maria Carey music(I don't like her new CD that much), Jennifer Lopez(not everything she does), and James Taylor, and for a change, some Vivaldi is nice.........(Hey Ashi, where is my Vivaldi CD-still haven't gotten it back yet, I miss listening to my Four Seasons)

Muddy Waters,Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, peter Green, Dire Straits, AC/DC Led Zep, Cream Gary Moore,Wisbone Ash (best seen live),Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart Bruce Springsteen, Hendrix, Elmore James, Bukka White,Son House, Janis Joplin.

Honest! I love them all .

I love live concerts, little gigs preferred. Latterly I have come to also enjoy some classical music , although I rankle at the stuffed shirt atmosphere of live classical concerts

Music is the oil that eases us through the harsh corners of this life

System of a Down! They are awesome live!

I love punk and rap too. Especially the old school stuff. Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Misfits, NWA, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys and even 2 live crew. Oh and who else misses Kool Moe Dee, Biz Markie, and Newcleus.

Some of the newer stuff is good. I like Outkast alot and The International Noise Conspiracy, the Hives...and the perennial classics like Sonic Youth and Violent Femmes.

I think I may pop in a Bloodhound Gang cd just for fun.

Aztec, System of the Down IS cool! never saw 'em live - did they break up? Yeah, there one of the few bands out there that actually have talent. Rage Against the Machine is killer too, as well as Tool, but it seems like rock isn't nearly as good now as it used to be 10 years ago...

Hey b2df, System is an awesome band! Don't even say break up. Rage was a great band too. They aren't the same without Zach though. I do love Chris Cornell but he's just not the same. Have you checked out Audioslave (Rage with Cornell)?

You're right about the state of rock music though. It's almost sad the way it's going. Ah well at least there's some decent rap to listen to.

No, I haven't checked them out yet. I'll do that very soon - when bands replace original singers, they never quite seem to do as good. Like when the singer from Extreme tried to play w/ Van Halen - PLEASE. Just didn't work. Maybe these guys will fair better. :-)
