Sigh. The poor girl probably suffered the accident because she was distracted by her disfellowshipping. I wish, at the very very least (and this is not good enough by any means) they would not disfellowship minors. At least give them immunity until they are 20 and are more mentally developed to handle such a traumatizing punishment. There is just no mercy with this religion.

You are one of my favorite posters John. If it wasn't for the fact that I live on the other side of the world, I'd by you a drink and reminisce about life with you.

The thing about the "bad kings of Israel" is that they had prophets get sent to them to point out their wrongs and make them deal with it. That doesn't happen with the "imperfect men" excuse from the WT.

Hi John,

The young girl and her families story upset me quite a bit.

From this account it is clear how alone and isolated Jehovah's Witnesses who experience trouble actually are and how the organization can rain devastation on an already tragic situation.

My consolation and prediction (circa 2100): No one will attend the Watchtowers funeral. No one will care that it died. Good riddance.

That lassy is the same age as me. I would like to know her first name, to honour her memory. Disfellowshiping minors is disgusting. I dont know about you guys but I was always taught that according to the bible you did not reach your majority until 20. They were also big on bragging about the fact they didn't baptise minors.

My son was operated on by an amazing cranio facial surgeon from Great Ormond Street, Mr Dunnaway,he retired this year. Hes been on TV as he goes all over the world with charitys and operates on kids who don't go outside because the village thinks they are demonized or cursed, because of they way they look.

This was one of the things that made me emotionally detatch from the org. I myself have refused blood when I haemorraged, but I could NOT allow my son to die, no matter what. Even though I knew in the UK they would make him a ward of court & so it would be ok for me to pretend but I could not be a hippocrite.

Those elders on the scene were disgusting, they knew what directions the org would give, trouble is there IS NO COME UPPANCE FOR THEM UNLESS WE MAKE IT SO

In general, the elders are cowards. .....In the case of my sister, who was being threatened by elders, the elders have stopped the judicial proceeding after being notified by my sister so as to meet them with her lawyer.
