    LOL@ Robdar, good one.....

I have seen the one mentioned at the outset. And, of course, the other one getting lots of play and attention is the one of the two babes fighting over "tastes great" and "less filling", ending up in a mud-wrestling shot.

No amount of flesh could get me to drink their piss-beer. Guinness, 24-7!!! Woo-hoo!!!

Lighten Up!!! Teens and pre-teens are exposed to far more on the school bus than they will ever see on commercials. I find both commercials (Miller and Bud) both quite funny. Let's face it, you have to have funny commercials to sell the crappy-tasting beer that they make. When they start brewing beer like Fosters then I'll switch.

Dantheman - if its any consellation - I find those adds totally degrading to women and stupid as well. But, it sells, so until guys find something more interesting - the adds will just continue to challenge the stick of human decency (kinda like mombo - how low can you go?). And like some here, i just turn off the dang thing while its on - it shouldn't keep you from enjoying the game.

thanks petty, sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one.

As if the commercials weren't bad enough, I happened to catch a little of the Raiders-Titans halftime show. Very sad, if entertainment is a mirror of society, than our society is lost without a map.

I see nothing wrong with the commercials. They will sell a lot of beer. I would rather see those than someone selling products "for those special days each month" or something to use when a woman just doesn't feel "fresh."

Come on ladies. It's only a commerical.

yeah right, as if there were some righteous path that everyone was supposed to be on..Just be glad you get to watch TV and see big chichis every once in a while. Another option might be to ban TV and make all the chicks wear burqas...now there's an idea!

    Sincerely,

    Hi Dan,

I couldn't help but be amused by the fact that though you are offended by the lowering of standards in television you have as your avatar a picture of Boss Hogg from the Dukes of Hazzard(or at least the actor who played him and is remembered as). Speaking of lowering of standards.

It is a shame that people just see these commercials as funny and harmless and don't recognize that they are the carefully crafted creations of ad agencies who conduct endless research on how to manipulate our emotions

So this is a 'with me or against me' kind of thing? People either hate the commercials and turn them off like you, or are being manipulated by the ad agencies?

Why does one have to care? What if you watch the commercials, note the stupid attempt to control the masses into buying something, and just ignore it? Does it really effect you that much?

Why, I wonder? Got some issues you need to work out?

than our society is lost without a map.

I think our society is doing ok. Could certainly be better. What is holding us back?

Well, mostly people who feel the need to be offended by everything are what is REALLY causing society to fall apart.

As long as many people continue to judge others based on their own personal standards, we are doomed.

Humanity cannot grow to any brighter future as long as we are continually held back by the 'lowest common denominator' - IE., the strictest conservatism.

    Let's be serious!!!!!

No, not really. They're commercials, people. Guys are meat on TV just like girls are....just be cool. Everybody likes to see pretty people. It's all in good fun.

I've seen stuff like this all my life and I don't treat my wife like meat. If it influences people, they must be dumb as bricks.
