I actually caught the preview twice. I have Bell ExpressVu, so I can time shift.
The good thing about the Fifth Estate, is they usually dedicate the entire show [ 1 hour ] to the subject, as opposed to other new shows that will run 2-3 different stories, in the time slot.
So hopefully, we will have a more detailed, in depth account.
Scully. I checked the Fifth Estate's web page this morning, and it has not been updated with next weeks show...yet. I'm sure you are monitoring it as well. If I catch it before you, I'll repost the link, and move the threads back to the top !
Yes .... xjw_b12 .... it will be very detailed. A lot of folks have given a lot of real stuff to these folks at The Fifth Estate and yes it WILL be a very in depth one hour show as Scully has indicated in the original promotion release on this web site.
Of course there will be more Survivors on the show besides Mike. BTW Mike told me it helped him a lot in doing this show .... so I am glad for him.
I heard from Scully that you, xjw_b12, helped out in something that I can't discuss in an open forum for liability reasons. I just want to say ... thanks for your help.
As for the promo .... I was ... well ... yeah it hit all the points and I sure was laughing my head off (sorry I know this is a serious subject) when they showed Bill's mug shot, then the tape going in the tape recorder, then hitting record and then ... you hear the WT headquarters dude telling Bill to cover it all up (just like in Dateline and Panorama) .... and yes ... seeing the actual copy of the "green" Pay Attention book was fantastic and Mike was his usual great self on TV ... so it will get lots of viewers .... but I still say if you want tons of viewers you need something that effects all Canadians ... and that is of course ... the door to door ministry issue.
Just to let you know....... there are going to be FOUR broadcasts of this program next week, according to the schedule on the CBC's website:
Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. on CBC's Main Network CBC's Newsworld: Thursday at 10:00 p.m. Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
It looks like I'll be VERY busy recording these shows on the three VCRs we have.

Remember people ..... tonight at 10:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on CBC NEWSWORLD the 5th Estate will repeat last night's show, and will likely, at the end of the show have a re-run of the promo that was scene last night.
I cannot 100 percent guarantee it will be on but if it is on it will be about 10:50 to 10:55 pm Eastern Standard Time.
