Using your line of reasoning, if a couple of US cities got nuked by some raving terrorists, then the surviving members of the families that got wiped out in Hiroshima and Nagasaki would thank the perpetrators from the bottom of the their hearts. Justice would have been served?.
Once again, one atrocity does not justify another.
Furthermore, you posted a long list of horrible atrocities that the Taliban had perpetrated and you totally ignored the more terrible atrocities that were committed by the Northern Alliance before the Taliban drove them out of power in Afghanistan and after they were allowed to come back in with the help of the US.

While God requires that Justice be served and that murderers be punished, I just do not see how flying at night in AC130 Gunship and seeing people as little bright dots scurrying about on infrared night vision screens, one can surely determine who was guilty, hold them for trial and execute punishment all at a push of a button.
How many innocent civilians were killed and hurt in Afghanistan even by the US army own admission?
In answer to you second post Francois, I do not know what weapon was used.

About three months ago there was an interesting article in the Gaurdian. A reporter went around Afghanistan and asked people if they are glad the Americans kicked out the Taliban. Interestingly enough, to a person they all said yes. Most sane people can see that we Americans bent over backwards to ensure that accidental deaths were kept to the barest possible minimum. Moral equivilancy is a very flawed form of logic, at best.

In an attempt to answer you question on what was used here is an educated guess. The smaller explosions were probably the 40mm cannons while the larger impacts were the 105mm howitzer being used. In the video stream provided you hear the gun crew chatter telling the pilot when the guns are clear to fire. The howitzer has an autoloader that needs to be replenished ever few shots by the gun crew. The crew lets the pilot know when they are out of the way of the recoil. Not sure what kind of ammo they were using.
In addition to the LLT (Low Light Television), Infra-Red imaging (FLIR) it has been speculated they have a side looking combination low aperture / dopler radar to help track moving targets on the ground.

Mission
The AC-130 gunship's primary missions are close air support, air interdiction and force protection. Missions in close air support are troops in contact, convoy escort and urban operations. Air interdiction missions are conducted against preplanned targets or targets of opportunity. Force protection missions include air base defense and facilities defense.
Features
These heavily armed aircraft incorporate side-firing weapons integrated with sophisticated sensor, navigation and fire control systems to provide surgical firepower or area saturation during extended loiter periods, at night and in adverse weather. The sensor suite consists of a television sensor, infrared sensor and radar. These sensors allow the gunship to visually or electronically identify friendly ground forces and targets any place, any time. The Japanese are our friends now. They realized that their leader was not a god to be worshipped. Most assuredly they would not like an American city to be destroyed. They are a vibrant society now that they are free of tyranny.
Likewise, the Afghan people are glad to be free of the millstone about their neck. In both cases, it was not the people who were bad, it was their leadership.

Lets see, having been unable to view the clip due to puter problems let me take a guess at what's happening. Taliban soldiers fleeing an area drop their weapons and run. Under the rules of war they are still enemy combatants and fair game targets. They didn't surrender. If I'm wrong about what the clip shows, let me know.
