Hi pettygrudger, I have a Youupper joke for you, told to me by a friend when I lived in Flint, Michigan. Seems there was this young man who worked in a small grocery store. One day he was in the produce section when a customer asked him if he could buy a half head of lettuce. Being single, a head of lettuce would go bad before he could finish it all. The young man said he didn't know, but he would go ask the owner who was behind the meat counter. When he got back there, he said, "there's some jerk in the produce section who wants to buy a half a head of lettuce." He then noticed that the customer had followed him, so he said, "and this fine gentleman wants to buy the other half." After the customer left the owner complimented the young man on his quick thinking. The owner then said, "you know, you have potential for this business. Where are you from, I know that you are new to Flint." The young man said, "I'm from the U.P. I left because all they have up there are whores and hockey players" The owner said that his wife was from the U.P. The young man asked, "Which team did she play for." Now, that is quick thinking.

Hmmm, the funny thing is I signed up on this forum to look for other Michiganders to spend time with and guess what? I've already met a bunch of em...LOL Thank you! My son does mean the world to me! See you Saturday
