    Hi Everyone,

I have a new mp3 audio up that you can listen to. It's by Carol Hartman. She was a Witness for over 35 years. And, yes, her husband did leave her for another woman at the Kingdom Hall. She'll tell you about it. Here's the link. Her testimony is closer to the bottom of the page:

This same thing happened years ago in Bethel - involving a guy from the Service Dept. and a sister whose married name

    was Mays, I think.

Same thing happend in my Hall. The elder decided he liked the MS' wife better than his own. Disfellowshippings, divorces, hard feelings all around.

My server seems to be down now (4:40 pm). If you tried to get in and couldn't, try again. It should be up soon.

    Hello tower man.

It so happens that I know both Carol and her ex husband. I talked to the ex on the phone about 6 months ago. Have not talked to Carol for over 30 yrs. Is Carol still in the borg?

Your site must be down, I can't get on it.

    Hi Outoftheorg,

Carol is out of the Watchtower Society and is a Christian. I don't know her personally but her testimony was recommended to me by Joan Cetnar. Carol spoke at Joan's ex-JW conference in 1995. Last I looked my site was up again so you can hear her testimony now.

I do not know why the WTS says they have a clean org. They have a high rate of adultry and remarriage/reinstatement/move to new cong. I have 0 respect for anyone leaving a wife/husband of many years to marry a young sister/bro. Yes his wife/hubby may have aged, but hell, he/she should look in the mirror too, I doubt Brad Pitt/jennifer anston is sitting there. man-don't get me started...........

Not only that. But as I lived with my elder uncle and on boring days I would go through his KH files (yes, I know, I'm scum) and read all about what was going on in the congregation. It made Peyton Place look like KinderKare. But the worst of it wasn't all the humpin' and bumpin' that was going on between people who shouldn't have been doin' it, it was that the people who got away with only private counseling were invariably friends of my uncle or other prominent persons in the congreation (this was before the elder arrangement). The people who had the entire book thrown at them with no mercy, who were summairly bounced out on their asses were those not friends of my uncle or other prominent person. So, yeah, I'm kinda scumy for going through those files, but I found a brand of scuminess in them that far transcended my poor little file grazing.

One example. An engaged and very beautiful young woman in the congregation was given private reproof when it was discovered that she had done the wild thing with her boss. Nine times. On the sofa in his office. The letter to the society said that her boss had "seduced" her. Now I don't know about you, but I doubt the idea of seduction in the first place, but let's not quibble about that. But I do definitely not believe in the situation described, and involving a JW after all, that ANY woman can be seduced, led to do something immoral that she wouldn't ordinarily do NINE, (9) times. C'mon. I can buy ONCE, but I can't buy NINE. Private reproof.

Other people in the congregation were loudly demonized from the platform for exactly what they had done and kicked out for doing the wild thing ONCE. Even though they were remorseful and repentant. That's merciful? That's just? That just a pile of shit is what it is.

    OK I'm done.
