Unemployed To Be Conscripted?

  I have no opinion on a draft in the UK, it's their Armed Forces. However, experience shows an all volunteer force is more highly motivated.

  Apparently, the reservists are given the chance to volunteer, then, if needs be, a thing called "The Queens Order" is enacted to insist that the reservists report for duty. I believe that conscripts would be in charge of the cooking etc and not play an actual fighting role.

  It will be interesting to see if the unemployment figures drop!
