I happened to attend a new boy talk by Ralph Wahl many years ago, as an observer. He sternly told new boys not to "pee in the sink" in their room, but to use the restroom urinal instead. I wondered if that was an actual problem at Bethel. Years later, I walked in again to his orientation and he repeated the same thing. I knew then that he was obsessed.
Over the years, I saw that Bethel was hyper-focused on the sexual organs of young Bethelites. It was disturbing to me and to others as well. They used any excuse to talk about sexual practices, perversions, and personal hygiene.
I do know that bestiality has been an issue for the organization for many years. This used to come up when women wanted scriptural divorces. The Service Dept did not consider bestiality as grounds for scriptural divorce until the the 1990's.
Yes - seriously. And these were the men guiding the sheep...

lol. I don't remember the sink peeing admonishment. The rooms in the old 124 building didn't have bathrooms.... There were communal bathrooms like a college dorm. I shared the bathroom with GB member Dan Sidlick. (Somehow he felt it was ok to walk a few more feet and just randomly wander in and out of my room. (Strange).
I remember my 2-3rd day at Bethel at breakfast. GB/President Knorr gave a 10-minute announcement that 30+ Bethelites had just been summarily disfellowshipped and evicted for homosexuality after having a "massage party" !#!# WTH!!!???
Soon after I heard about the bestiality issues at the farm!?!?! Evidently, some fellows were using/misusing baby animals.... ugh
Having grown up adjacent to San Francisco I thought I had heard it all....NOPE.

It's part of the reason why I've always thought the Bethel environment an unhealthy one.
Self-contained (and often rigidly enforced single-sex) environments like military bases, youth camps, religious seminaries and so on have all proved to be perfect environments for the proliferation of sexual deviance, excessive mental and social control, power trips, violence and other unhealthy behaviours.
Jesus encouraged his disciples to live relatively "normal" lives within their own communities ("In the world but no part of the world", etc), not shut themselves away in private communes.
