Is the Org a human org or is it God's org?

This question can really drive someone batty.

We must show "deep respect and wholehearted obedience" to the "Society, since it is controlled by the God's holy spirit" (Watchtower, 15.10.1960). "Doing what the organization says, means doing what He (Jehovah) says. Resistance to the Organization means resistance to Him. (Watchtower,1.8.1959).

We must not be ruled by democratic methods; God's will must flow to us theocratically through the leadership of the "faithful and wise servant", who is provided by God

- The Governing Body of the Watch Tower Society is an "authentic prophetic class of Christians" (Watch Tower, Greek ed. 6.1.1993).

J.R. Brown: "please do not conclude that we believe that our system is perfect. No human organization is perfect."

Wat is it now? Is it a human org? or is it God's org? Or is Browny starting his own? For me I'll take the advice of the magazine below.

Well, it depends.

If the Organisation want your complete and utter devotion and obedience then of course they are God's Organisation - and to disobey them means to disobey God Himself.

On the other hand, when their prophecies fail or some serious problem is revealed or 'new truth' replaces an 'old truth' then of course it's a humble man-made organisation which makes mistakes.

Like many beliefs of the JWs, they are adapted to fit the current question. JWs are quite capable of believing two opposed things, but not quite at the same time.

its a man made organization, and when you look back to its begining, ct russel, and read about him and the formation of the watchtower society, WITH AN OPEN MIND, it becomes crystal clear.

he was a fruit loop, power hungry, and greedy. he got exactly what he wanted. millions of people to follow and give money for the "privledge" of "publishing".

Not to mention the pyramidology of Russell's beliefs. Surely a "thinking" dub would have to be worried about Russell's original writings.

To think that the "modern-day" WTS claims that Jesus came to inspect them and selected them of all people at the end of the "Gentile Times". It defies logic to think that the Lord would select a movement that embraces demonism. Weird.

Actually the claim is made that Jehovah has ALWAYS had an organisation on earth.....AT ALL TIMES since Pentecost. Who was this Organisation BEFORE Russell that he himself was to learn this truth from? Did Russell learn the truth from the existing annointed that should have been in existance at his time? Who are they, and what are their names?

The society has NEVER addressed this issue. In their JW's in Divine purpose book it clearly says....."he learned the truth from no one, and that he PRIVATELY took the bible off the self and HE "turned the light on the bible".

Russell started that Organisation.........not God.

Here they claim Jehovah's Witnesses are prophets.

"They do not claim infallibility or perfection. Neither are they inspired prophets." {WT May 15 1976 297}

And here they claim they are not prophets.

Its not the Holy Spirit, it is DOUBLETHINK!!!! WTS has perfected DOUBLETHINK beyond Orwells wildest dreams!!!

There is no religion in the world run by God. They are all just myths that got out of hand.
