I think my workmates would get a kick out of it. Flowers, a bit much. But in the words of the great bard HOMER SIMPSON, "mmmmmmmmm! Chocolate!"

So far it seems about 50/50 .What would be a good alternative for flowers? Maybe a bouquet of tools?

In the UK this kind of thing is reserved for men to send to women.

Apart from this men are more practical anyway, send him something useful like a set of spanners or maybe a pizza.

I would be hypontised by a woman sending me something like this.

I'd rather have tulips on my organ than flowers on my piano.

Oh, my flat mate who's been to the US just informs me you need to know that spanners are called "wrenches".
