Flowers have always struck me as a monumental waste of money. I mean, why pay big bucks for something that grows in the yard for free? Yeah, they're pretty and all, but there are certainly better things to spend that much money on. Just the same, women seem to like them, so I do send or bring them to my wonderful wife now and then.

I've only had flowers sent to me at work once upon a time but it was my Bday rather than Valentines. It was special and one of the things I will always remember her for - embarassing the hell out of me at work!! lol

I don't send my husband flowers for Valentines. I give him personal certificates which he can redeem at any time!!!!

Flowers? Nice, but I don't have a vase on my desk, so I'm afraid they'd get tied to my monitor with duct-tape, which would probably piss off whoever sent them to me.
Now, if you want to give a man a plant, give him a cactus. He only needs to water it once a year!
Best of all though, is to give a man yourself.

Many years ago when I had a big bad Geordie lover, I would bring him a bunch of flowers from time to time. He seemed to like it. I would never have sent him flowers at work, though.
The current Mr Fe2O3 is the only man who has ever given me flowers. He buys them for me all year round. I don't want a bunch of overpriced wilting roses on Friday.
