Preston...if it was me, I would be dumfounded and reeling. You've been together a year. For some people that is ample time to make a descision like this, some people need five years, and others never feel they are ready for this. For me...I dunno, I would be hesitant too--but you shouldn't listen to me, I think I have serious comittment issues.

Bottomline is only you will know if this is going to work out. If you are even slightly uncomfortable with it, just tell him you need sometime, or a long term engagement. If he really loves you, he will understand and be willing to wait for you.

Whatever you choose I hope you are happy. You are such a sweetie, and a good a friend, above all you deserve to be happy! Good luck to you! Please keep us posted

First of all, I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for being supportive of me when I asked of it. I only feel humble considering the fact that I don't post here that often.
