Want to see what the JW Congregations will look like in 10 years?

Go visit a Christadelphian congregation today, and have a look around. (that is, IF you can find one)

All grey hairs and ZERO youth.

This is why WT HQ is slowly evolving (gasp!) into an online only (maybe even by monthly subscription) religion. Hence the need for Ram-a-Poo facility. All congregations slowly being updated and then sold off for profit and the future of the Congregations will be online and Quarterly Assemblies at WT owned Assembly Halls. They'll never give those up, as they are total money-makers and also the only social event for JW's. Once all KH's are sold off, the Memorial will be held at the Assembly Halls as well, being one huge dress party for the JW's to show off and go out to eat.

Think I'm kidding? Wait and see. The last 10 years were eye-popping, the next 10 will REALLY be something with Glutonous Bozos 3.0 at helm.

    WING COMMANDER:

Yes, I agree and you are not the only one who thinks the Jehovah’s Witnesses are evolving into an online religion.

All the halls are being sold off and an assembly hall will be kept here and there for as you say quarterly assemblies, etc. Maybe some of the rank & file will like this. Who knows?

But I think the die-hards who thought of the JW religion as their ‘rock’ to depend on will be very let down by this!! This will be a bitter pill for them. (It also will be very hard to control or judge people if you are not physically around them - but it won’t matter at that point because the whole thing is on its way OUT and the religion will have people’s $ubscriptions.)

I wonder if those of the JWs who crave and need to meet in person will find ways to get together unofficially (?). Their precious religion will have become remote and they will be left high and dry. The JW religion will then be added to the list of USA religions on the way to being defunct.. Serves them right.

Vanderhoven7 : The last report by the coward organization was 70,000 are disfellowshipped a year, with 2/3 NEVER returning after freeing themselves from the cult and its false doctrine.

According to the news report on jw-dot-org (November 13, 2024) there was a "43.2 percent increase in those who returned to Jehovah, with 65,816 who were reinstated" in the 2024 Service Year Report. There is a thread on this here.

My old congro in New Zealand was closed down a few years ago.

In 1991 we built a K.H that seated 240 and was filling up fast 2 congros.

Now one congro and emptying out as fast.

    Karter.

While PIMO, I had the assignment of counting the attendance. I noted that 2/3 of the cong were 50+ in age. I also saw a photo of an elders school. All of them were grey headed. This was 11 years ago. I’d hate to think what it’s like now

Maybe we'll see a gentler,,kinder & nicer religion some day.

Glad to see countries like Norway stepping up. And doing something about American based religions relying on tax free status & government subsidies & treating people like kaka.

It looks like people are waking up and leaving most of the mainline religions/churches. They are seeing just how corrupt and evil they actually are. Nothing more than a business that wants more and more money. The religions/churches are a far cry from what the first century "house" churches were.

I don't agree nor disagree, but I'm seeing a strong growth in the Hebrew Roots groups. Tons of info about them on YouTube. Many of them have gone to areas to start homesteads and live off the land rather than living in large towns and cities. They seem to be happy doing their "thing" at home, not in church buildings that want their money.

Do a Google search on Hebrew Roots Near Me, and you will be surprised how large it is actually growing. They are right in my backyard so to speak.

Whenever you hear of a hint to their tax exemptions,,, they 'wiggle' a bit .

Not because they want to appear nicer & kinder.

No. There's an ulterior motive. Their tax free status & subsidies
