I think Room215 summed it up well. Being able to ask questions and not get hauled up for it.
Weren't most of us WT sympathizers at some point?

Most of the board originally were JW's. But there are a few that like to post only to rebel-rouse. If they really do believe that the "truth" is true, why post here? I really don't get it. If they are truly confused, why post pro-Witness? .......Because they're really not confused!!!!
Mimumus:
I guess that would fall under freedom of speech . Personally I wish I had a board like this when I was a dub, I would have ran sooner
It's the DOT Minimus, I tell you .
Like a scene out of the movie: Casino Royale (the button) - it's like a homing device .
"Everyone is welcome." If this was just a "one issue gang mentality web site" I would not post here. Too much like the JW club.
I feel that this is a site to reasonablely discuss JW related topics. If you want a true debate, then you need a "JW" to debate with!
Frankly, I don't mind jw supporters posting here for a few reasons:
It means that there are some on the "inside" who are willing to look beyond the WTS walls and check out a site like this.
It means that such people may be helped to leave if that's what they wish to do.
It helps many of us, I think, to see the pros and cons discussed (argued), so that we can evaluate such arguments and the logic and fact presented.
I think that if one is overtly for the Watchtower cause, they should be honest about it and debate the issues without any pretense.
It is not that Black and White. I am for some aspects of JW thoughts, and many that I am not......
Why do I go to the pub? To spend time with like-minded people and contemplate the solution to the world's problems over a pint of ale.
Earnest, I recommend that you go out and get drunk.
