    That would include discussions with elders, would it not? Would the above quote be strong enough to use against an elder or two who get a bit too curious? Or is it just more "plausible deniability"?

    Yes, if you don't want someone outside your marriage to know what is going on in your marriage, don't share that with them. Many jws take it very seriously to report other jws based on that person's wild idea that it is wrong and goes to the the elders and report you. Make sure that whatever happens is mutually agreed upon between husband and wife also Unless one spouse reports the other spouse...
