The temple watchtower last Sunday almost required some thinking, but the first 15 minutes was pure off subject fluff.

Start by forgoing reading paragraphs, and streamline the study

He had no notes and it was nothing like the kindergarten drivel they pump at you today..

Our cong. had an attendance problem esp. after COVID. People seemed emboldened by the new normal that was out there and it seemed only the stricter families went. Yes that was ours! Yay!

There does seem to be almost a ''sifting'' happening in the Borg as to some have suggested.

To 'sift out' the "holier'' ones and ''sift'' out the more 'lukewarm' JWs so that they fall through the cracks and appeal to the more zealous JWS. Those are the ones who are more apt to donate $$$$$,, the '"holier'' or more zealous JWS.

Just a way the borg reinvents itself.

I don't believe the WT is going anywhere, but it is dwindling and facing mega lawsuits and travails. Good.

Like many here I have family in, and they aren't going anywhere...so far. They get all starry eyed talking about the congregation and Jah. Their community is good for them, and for their small world. They don't understand my leaving and I don't understand their ignorance of the deeds of the corporation and mishandling of scripture.

Dagney: I couldn’t agree more. My father get all starry eyed talking about the cong of Jah. Nothing would give me more pleasure than for him to walk out the door giving them the middle finger. This, however, is just not an option. His community is good for him, and to wake up now would mean an untimely death. Then no body wins. He’s happy content, and I’m pleased he’s serving Jehovah AKA watchtower.
