    This is so true. When margarine was promoted as better than butter this is what the direction was from Jehovah.

    we must never ever forget that the direction from Jehovah was to replace butter with margarine. How can the so called faithful and discrete slave not apologise for this madness 😡

    They are recommending oils like canola (which I call rape oil) that go rancid inside the bloodstream, creating more inflammation and clots within your blood vessels. And they wonder why there are so many with heart trouble. As for margarine and shortening, go ahead and eat it--if you enjoy eating plastic. That is what these abominations are, plastic.
    And avoid animal fats? Sounds like the jokehovian witlesses are trying to impose a vegan diet on the flock. A vegan diet is deficient in so many key nutrients, including fatty acids and vitamin B12. We are not meant to be herbivores, idiots!

    Yes the GB are absolute idiots and to me this direction from the so called faithful and discrete slave proves they are not who they claim to be. And if I am wrong and they are right that Jehovah wants us to eat plastic margarine and avoid animal fats and butter then Jehovah is an idiot as well.

    I think a little context needs explaining here . Those articles are clearly just advice for a healthy diet, based on what dietitians are saying at the time. It is certainly not a doctrinal thing or a WT belief . Most Witnesses would have missed it anyway.

    You can argue the rights and wrongs of what to eat, and people do. To the Witnesses it is no big deal.

Also indicates the fluoride contamination documented in the film Dark Waters is actually a national problem now impacting 20% of agricultural land. Another article I glanced at said about 60% of our food is contaminated with this process. That can't be! Oh my🤮.

    I'm a gen Z so I had no idea what the WT used to recommend for a healthy diet.

    Base on the information I have received today, found all over the internet, I eat two meals a day. In the morning I eat a 16oz Rib-eye or a New York Steak, 8 oz milk, and one egg.

    For lunch at around 2PM, I eat about 16 oz of chicken, 8 oz of milk, and one veggie.

    Nothing else, including snacks, until next morning.

    I don't eat bread, no corn or flour tortillas, or any process food. No fast food, like hot-dogs, burgers, or pizza.

    Once in a while I will cook my own ground beef, and mix it with lettuces, tomato, pickles, and a little mustered, no bread.

    I eat fruit for dessert from time to time

    I eat this over and over and never get tired of it.

    I have lots of energy all day long and I go to sleep within two minutes when I go to bed. Wake up around 5 am every morning, and work out for about 45 minutes Monday - Friday.

    I never gotten the flu, got Covid for a few hours and was fine the next day.

    But I'm not sure if it's because of healthy living or because I'm still Young.

    She had picked up those "facts" from other JWs over 72 years. Both wrong.

    A POMI JW asked me last month: "Can you remember ANYTHING the Governing Body was right about?" It took a minute. : "NO" was my reply.

    I saw the thread title and scanned the thread for the ignorant trope that ‘margarine is plastic’. Sure enough. 🤦‍♂️

    Plastic is a polymer of hydrocarbons. Margarine is an emulsion of water and fats. Margarine is chemically similar to… butter.
