My question is how does that compare with what is happening in Germany today 2018? Seeing their is a gap of 10 years ?
How many peak publishers in Germany in 2008 compared to 2018 ?
At the end of 2007 there were nearly 2225 congregations in Germany (see 2008 Yearbook). Since 530 out of them were foreign-language (FLC), ≈1700 were ones German-language (GLC). Notices of creation, renaming and dissolution of congregations are published in Amtsblatt. Thanks to this, it is possible to count that the number of GLC has decreased by ≈210 whereas the number of FLC has increased by ≈90 over the past decade. So, now there ≈1490 GLC and ≈620 FLC.
