Yup, "they're just put out there by opposers to make the Organization look bad!"...
...y'know... like the Sparlock cartoon.Funny you should mention Sparlock. I got a negative anti-apostate response from the same JW, and a few other JWs, about Sparlock the warrior wizard. You think they would learn to stop criticizing mother Watchtower.
Also got a very similar response re: Geoffrey Jackson and his appearance before the ARC. Poor waco jacko got called an apostate by many a JW.
"The truth about the truth" ... Priceless!

Now that's funny.

I honestly dont know how genuine sincere witnesses sit there and take all the strangeness in!
It now seems no accident that the famous quote from several years ago in the wt was written.
You know, the one about "we must be ready and willing to obey everything from the GB no matter how strange or unusual it may appear from a human standpoint"
They were gearing up the flock for the onslaught of "crazy paranoia and manipulation "

jwleaks, my husband said the same about the first caleb video when I showed him and asked if it was for real.
He believed it was apostate, until he attended the convention and saw it presented there. It HAS to be a powerful seed to plant when they believe official WT propaganda to be apostate when it is viewed first outside the KH/convention etc.

Any first hand reactions by JW believers to report? Are the full in JWs eating it up? Any concern being voiced? Or just crickets?

Way back in 1988 I received my very first "leak" an advance copy of the Revelation Climax book. The book was eventually spotted on my desk at home and I was turned in to the elders for having apostate literature. Go figure. Of course nowadays the teachings in the book are actually considered apostate in the most part.
I was so furious about being falsely accused that I had a bunch of the illustrations, the more bizarre ones, printed up. I did this by taking photos of the pictures with my then brand new 35mm SLR Canon EOS 620 camera, and had prints developed. The photos I left lying around everywhere.
JWLEAKS since 1988.

JWLeaks-- I don't doubt that your JW friend thought the videos were apostate since they hadn't been released in an "official" jw setting. They've been trained to be so suspicious of anything not coming through the channel. The person probably didn't actually watch them all through. It would be funny to know that person's thought when the see it at the RC.
I am wanting to know about how witnesses are reacting to the vids after seeing them "officially" at the RC.
Is anyone talking?
If there is a general silence about it in the ranks, that could be very telling....

My wifes batshit crazy aunt said she cried during the saturday program and wants my wife to go with her.
