First of all, after leaving Watchtower I decided to never again be a mindless gullible drone and join ANY CULT, RELIGION, TRIBE..OR....Political Party.

I also remember an attorney co-worker's favorite saying: "Never forget HALF the people you meet today have an IQ below 100".

Therefore I vote independent. I also read a VARIETY of news sources every day...and even take those sources with a large grain of salt.

Before making sweeping statements about political parties, demographics, or politicians promises, and records, take a few minutes and do some research. If where you got the original mis-information from is wrong, think twice before relying on that source again.

Gun buyers are required to submit to a background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)...The NICS has conducted more than 300 million checks since launching in 1998, leading to over 3 million denials.

I'm assuming you know that first line is not true. The vast majority of gun sales are private and untraced. I sold a 357 handgun out of my trunk in a McDonald's parking lot, lol. I've bought and sold hunting guns off Craigslist and classified ads. Background checks, that's hilarious. The 3 million gun buyers that failed the background check just bought what they wanted at the next gun show.

But the op was about facilitating every citizen's right to vote, If all Americans embraced that right as dearly as some embrace their '2nd amendment right', we would not be having this discussion.

liam.....Trump is a convicted felon yet he voted the other day. How was this possible?

    According to Forbes:

As a Florida resident with an out-of-state conviction, Trump would only be prohibited from voting if the state where he was convicted restricts him from voting, according to the Florida Division of Elections.

According to New York law, Trump would only be restricted from voting if he is behind bars, meaning Trump can still vote in Florida as long as he avoids prison time in New York.

I wouldn't assume, I would make sure the State I live in allows "private gun sales" without a background check. Otherwise, you might unexpectedly get a visit that will cost you some $$$$.

While the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the right of private citizens to keep and bear arms, there are some limits and regulations on how they are sold and who may possess them. Federally licensed firearms dealers are required by federal law to conduct background checks on prospective buyers, but private (unlicensed) sellers are not. Some states require background checks for private sales, usually through a licensed intermediary, but others have few to no regulations on private gun sales.

Federal gun laws established under the Brady Handgun Violence Protection Act prohibit gun ownership by certain individuals, such as the mentally ill or those under protective orders for domestic violence.

Here's a list of some of the States and their Law Code regarding private gun sales.

Do I need a background check to sell my gun to a friend?

Yes, in many states, both you and your friend will need to pass a background check before transferring ownership to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

I gave some examples in my previous post of how some States allow even Incarcerated people to vote from Prison.

    From My post.

    Here are some examples.

Incarcerated people from Maine, Vermont, and Washington, DC, can vote from prison

    Yep. I understand that.

Can people with felony convictions vote? (usafacts.org)

It's an interesting question. Does a felon lose their right of franchise because they are no longer fully citizens? Some might argue keeping a convicted felon engaged with larger society could be helpful. A large factor in recidivism is the sense of alienation from the community many felons feel.

America spends more on its military than the next ten countries combined because that’s what it costs to maintain the largest empire in human history. Do some Americans believe their rulers spend this way out of the goodness of their heart? Some inexplicable benevolence toward the rest of humankind? Because the rest of the world isn’t buying it. The US maintains the largest killing machinery ever because it is in its financial as well as its strategic interest to do so. If Europe took the bait and built a military to rival the US then the US would be unlikely to welcome that outcome. If Europe had a military equal to the US then the US might be less likely to blow up European pipelines at will to further its own economic interests, for example, and Europe might be less supine if the US attempted it in those circumstances.

This is a sweeping statement and insulting by insinuation that others who have joined these groups are stupid.

    Here is my favorite thought:

Don't judge people by their IQ's, there are a lot of people smarter than you and I.

So, when you vote for your Independent candidate aren't you joining that candidates tribe?

    What is the difference?

Do some Americans believe their rulers spend this way out of the goodness of their heart?

Only those who have been indoctrinated from youth to believe that!

The almost 400 million Americans are no different than the Jehovah’s Witness community. The ones that still believe might be good people who have just been indoctrinated to believe that the 9 old dudes in New York have been chosen by Jehovah to lead the way into the New Order.

About 100 million Americans are aware that the Democrat party is the War machine. They are like the Jehovah Witness that wake up. They can look at the history of politics and see that at this current time, the Democratic party wants prolong war because it means money in their pocket. During the Bush administration it was the Republican party that was the war machine.

So what does that tell us? It tells us that someone else is pulling the strings for war and they are powerful enough that they can pull the strings on which ever political party is in power,

In our current situation, and time frame, that’s the main reason why there have been several assassination attempts on Trump. Because they are aware that Trump if elected President, will do everything in his power to stop the war in Ukraine and the middle east. The middle east might be a little harder to stop.

When Trump was in office there was no wars like today for all 4 years. Americans prospered. They could afford a a brand new home. Interest rates were low. Trump is a business man not a politician. He knows that peaceful times brings prosperity for the Average citizen in America. Peace allows citizens to afford buying a Home, a car, and provide groceries at a reasonable price for their children.

That’s why Trump is the only President to go to North Korea and visit with the Kim Jong Un, then he went to China to visit with President Xi Jinping, then he went to Russia to visit with Putin. Then he wanted to stop funding so much money to NATO who just wants war after war in Europe, and he also wanted to stop funding the United Nations.

As soon as Trump’s Presidency was over and Biden took over, Immediately Biden open all the borders to illegal immigrants from all over the world. American citizens were seeing their young daughters being raped and killed. Crime started to skyrocket. Criminals were arrested and released immediately.

Biden has made sure Illegal immigrants come first. In fact Democratic States are now funding new homes for illegal immigrants by giving them $150,000 to put down for a down payment, plus thousands of dollars of food stamps a month, where as American veterans, and law abiding citizens get no help like that for housing.

Biden incited NATO to break the agreement with Russia and slowly start invading parts of land they had agreed not to invade. Biden immediately started funding Ukraine with weapons without the consent of the American People.

Immediately after that, Democratic President Biden start printing tons of money, and getting the USA into Trillions of dollars in Debt with his war. Some how a Pipe Line that supplies oil to Europe was blown up causing prices to blast into the sky for Europeans and Americans alike. I could go on and on but you get the point.

This is why they don’t want Trump for President. He will take away their money making racket or war.
