It has often been noted that many who leave WT often move from Believers in a god to Agnostic or Atheist.
While the reasons often vary, they do share a common path- After leaving WT they kept on ASKING MORE QUESTIONS - smile

I can understand JT why that happens; as I'm sure you can. Many folks with the sense and intelligence to leave the Witnesses may come to view the antiquated, tribal, anthropomorphized deity, as childish and sickening; becoming atheists thinking there is no where to go from there. Personally I don't believe anymore in a god, that is an object, or thing, or person. So I would be considered an atheist under the traditional definition. Yet, I do have a deeper sense of ..... can't say. I know there are others here that....well, can't say either. Or, perhaps they can. JamesT of the confusing class

Well I don't know about anyone else, but I'm thoroughly burned out on the subject of religion. I don't want to play anymore, so I'm taking my marbles and going home.

Since this thread is for atheists, I have to ask myself........why am I hear? Because I'm lonely? No....that ain't it. ...............Oh, I know. I'm waiting for others to say what their beliefs are........weather they believe in god or not......then I'll jump in.
