weird, I can't find a "situation" described in that post, only wildly (and ridiculously) alluded to. Perhaps our latest artist (did I mention I was an artist? I am an artist you know... look trees, oh by the way, I'm an artist)/male prostitute-at-twelve and did I mention I was an artist?.... poster who thinks/writes like a disturbed woman will come clear this up.

OK so if I get this right......6of9 has been an artist since the age of 12, and his/her night job is/as a prostitute, becuase everbody knows, that "serious " artists cannot support themselves, and take on some kind of menial, no-mind work to pay the bills.

Sorry Brummie to aid in this hijacking. I think kat's posts, as bizzare as they are, may be sincere. I've lived in a religion for most of my life that brain-washed me into believing, that everybody outside the KH was EVIL ! So know I've done a 180 degree turnaround, and now I take what people say at face value, and hope for the best.

When you stop to think about it, if kat is real, and people are monitoring the board, how many fit kat's description ?

I couldnt get back on line last night, when i got to work the computers were down and I was pretty niffed to say the least.

Anyway I think KAT would understand why people should keep a sceptics hat on.

xjw_b12 I know similar cases that have hapened in real life so I'll give the benifit of the doubt but remain sceptic until Kat comes back and explains the rest.

Six, at face value I think you are right.

Kat was a pretty cool dude, hope he comes back or at least I hope he gets help if none of this is kosher.

I'll take people on face value until presented with evidence to prove otherwise. Kat seemed like a good guy, and I still think he is, yet that last post was so odd I can understand where Brummie is coming from in this matter. That's the biggest problem with an Internet discussion board. None of really knows if we are who we say we are. I suppose time is the only way to gauge a poster's veracity, if they act and speak about things in a consistent manner.

As I say, I'll take kat_newmas for what he said he was. If he was not genuine, he didn't really hurt anyone. If he is genuine, then he's bitten off one helacious problem and I shared with him my concerns about resuming a relationship with "family" that would treat him in the way he described. I wish him luck, and he's going to need it. Either way the matter is pretty much over.
