The WTS has used to above terms, over the years, some more preferred in certain time periods. More though, but these occurred to me first. Also the terms "New World" and "New World Order" have been used by some US Presidents and other leaders.
New World, New World Order, New System of Things

When I was first coming in , in the 1980s there was a lot of 'conspiracy' talk among some evangelical and political groups to beware and fight against a forthcoming "New World Order - One World Government'. Which is why I think Watchtower has stepped away fom using those specific phrases. It's more common now to hear " The New System" or "" New Earth". Though the Bible version still used is, of course, 'The New World Translation'...

I grew up hearing "New World Order" all the time from WTS. I agree with Herelam60 that they may have stepped away from it due to it's other uses by "The World".

The Watchtower has always been hung up on terminology. It's not this it's that and so on. It's not a bulletin board, it's an information board.
Always straining at the nat.

Whether it's politicians or clergy doing the promising, the New World Order only has room for some. -

The Borg should've just stuck to the official wording. đ
(Isaiah 65:17) "For look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth;"
(Isaiah 66:22) âFor just as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making...â
(2 Peter 3:13) "But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting...."
(Revelation 21:1) "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth;"

In 1974 "the New Order" was cool.
w74 12/15 pp. 765-766 par. 36 - "And now, as the year 1975 opens up, some thousands of the anointed remnant, still alive on this earth, look ahead to realizing that joyful prospect. The increasing âgreat crowdâ of their sheeplike companions look forward with them to entering the New Order without interruption of life. In the New Order Jehovah God will add to the âlength of daysâ of the anointed remnant on earth to the point of satisfying the members thereof. It remains to be seen whether they will be yet retained here on earth to see the start of the resurrection of the earthly dead and to meet faithful witnesses of ancient, pre-Christian times."
From 1952 until 1966, a new world order was the in-phrase:
w66 12/1 p. 730 - "They will enjoy the fine privilege of seeing Satanâs complete organization on earth and all wickedness destroyed off of it and the dawning of a righteous new day in which a new world order under the peaceful kingdom of Christ will be ushered in to rule everlastingly."
w52 7/15 p. 432 par. 1 - "From these it is possible to obtain a clearing vision of the details which will operate in the new world order of things.... Godâs dealings with those ancient societies foreshadowed many developments in the new world order of things."
w52 11/15 pp. 696-697 pars. 3 - 5 - "...they were given authority to become Godâs children with the promise of everlasting life in that new world order, that new heavens and new earth where righteousness dwells....The answer is, because God not only determined and set his mind on that new world order.....From the foregoing we can appreciate it is not an impersonal kind of love that God has for a certain arrangement. That new world order under Godâs kingdom is made up of individuals..."
But how did the self-proclaimed "slave" come up with this non-Biblical catchphrase?
w50 6/1 p. 171 - "The new world means more than the nations realize. It calls for more than they can muster. The bald fact is that they do not want it. For that reason the promised new world of lasting peace should not be confused with the so-called ânew orderâ or ânew world orderâ that was held up and widely advertised a few years ago by the political and religious dictators as a lure to the people."
Oops!!! From Babylon the Great & the wild beast, no less. (surely they broke copyright laws!!!) đ¤Ł
The Awake! magazine is awash with articles which mention the new world order.

When I was growing up in the Org I always heard the witnesses say The New Order when referring to the future paradise. Nowadays you don't dare say New Order when talking about the paradise. That word is now associated with illuminati world domination. The witnesses now have an smart phone app to keep tabs on service hours and congregation announcements called NW Publisher. The NW stands for New World but when it first came out I thought the NW stood for North West. That's what happens when you don't go to all the meetings and besides it's only for the US.

g96 4/22 - Reflecting the mood of the times, George Bush, who was then president of the United States, spoke on many occasions about an emerging ânew world order.â

Yes, I remember endless vocabulary changes from the early 60s on.
As a kid, Mom said it was to confuse "outsiders, government agents and apostates" during the coming tribulation.
In the 70s, Ray Franz told me some issues occurred during translation into third-world languages causing unwelcome persecution.
I have heard all kinds of explanations and changes in the last 70 years.
Perhaps it is simply tribal jargon, a way for group members to feel special and more like insiders. Tradesmen have done this over the centuries.
