This concept has bothered me for a very long time!
The presumptuousness of those that claim that "Jehovah answered their prayer", compared to an equally sincere person who's prayer WAS NOT answered!
So who is more favoured by God?
As Dunedain said above, 2 or more people can be praying for 2 different outcomes, yet both are sincere and have faith. Why does god answer one and not the other?
OR is it simply a coincidence!?!
The GB is working against god apparently ,for people to have prayers answered from a magazine, the GB is making it harder to do if they keep cutting down the amount of mags they print .

As for the whole prayer issue, it always amazed me how on one hand the Big Jehoobie would somehow swing world events so that some piosneer out in the sticks came home to find a bag of groceries on her stoop, yet Jehoobie could not even lift a finger to stop that bus full of jdubs on their way to Jehoobie's convention in South America from rolling down a mountainside. Because, (drum roll, please) as we all know, time and unforeseen circumstance...is some made-up b*llsh*t.
Seriously, how do still-in dubs reconcile this nonsense? It just added fuel to my Get-Out-Of-Jehoobie-Land fire. There has to be some mental cognition when stories like those are in the news.
("God may answer our prayer in an article in a magazine" , Oh yeah ? I have read , looked at photo`s in black label Penthouse magazines ,in my younger days and those prayers weren`t answered .
Oh , you mean W.T.`s like how I could make money investing in Miracle Wheat ?
Or how I could live forever , "Millions Now Living Will never Die" ?
What about the magazine " What will The 1970`s Bring " or some such thing.
and the magazines that indicated that we would be living in the new system of things by the end of the 20th Century ,
None of which has remotely come true.
