Hi, its good to see that your hanging in there. I knew your father and worked out in field service with him on a few occasions(In Redbird and Desoto Halls). I still live in the dallas area. I can tell you that I always thought highly of your father, he was a good man. You know it hurt me that no one called and told me. I found out from reading your letter on this site. But, theres IRONY to this. About six months ago I was talking to a brother at my hall and asked him about your father, he told me that he had been disfellowshiped. I had not heard of it until he told me. Well 2 weeks ago a visting brother gave a talk at our hall and I noticed that he was an older brother and strangely enough after the meeting I asked him if he knew Bro. Bibbie and he said yes. But he mentioned nothing of the sucide(But, I knew something was strange because he walked away soon as he said yes) this aroused my curiosity and after doing some research I found this site and read your letter. I am in my thirties when I was younger your dad once promised me a job. If I remember correctly he once had an electronics company or something like that. I say all of this because I read one post saying that people here may be making up stories well, I assure you that I am real. I been through it myself. My sister died 4 years ago in childbirth because she wouldn't take blood. I'm still upset and hurt about that. Anyway, I know that I rambled on, but I just had to let you know that my thoughts are with you.
Brian welcome aboard. I know this is a thread for Cruzanheart but I am a nosey person at the best of times. I am very sorry to hear of your sister and hope that you get a lot of support and help in coping with these awful events that the Watchtower brings into our family lives. I'm glad you can encourage Cruzenheart at this time.
Hey, Brian! Welcome to the board and thank you for posting a message to me. I'd love to talk to you. I'm sorry you had to hear about Dad's death the hard way and I am really sorry for what you went through with your sister.
If you want to talk, you can call me this evening at 972/423-2663. By the way, if it's a concern, I am NOT disfellowshipped or disassociated. I just haven't been to a meeting since last May.
I was raised in White Rock and also attended Arlington East in the mid-80's. I'll be honest, I can't quite place you but south Dallas was never my stomping grounds so I don't know too many people there.
